What should I check before buying a Tripp Lite smart rack enclosure?
Start with height, depth, and mounting style. The 19-inch rack width is standard, but the enclosure depth determines whether a long server or a UPS shelf fits. The U measurement tells you how many rack units fit; a 24U enclosure is a different footprint than a 42U one. Then check the cable access points and cooling. A closed cabinet can look neat and still cook equipment.
